UX/UI Design with Figma

UX/UI Design with Figma

A problematic contemporary notion is spreading through our cultural environment, suggesting that creativity is a solitary and heroic endeavor, when in reality, it thrives through collective efforts. The relationship between creative communities and the bars, cafés, and restaurants they haunt is long and well documented, and the practical means of nurturing creative expression can be planned and built into our current environments.

Nowadays, following the impact of the pandemic and the rapid progression of society, people are finding new ways to create interpersonal connections, and that has created a huge shift in moving our worlds online.

THE KEY, a digital members club for artists, was born to be a successor to salons, 17th century Parisian literary circles, the clubs of 18th century London, the Dadaists of the Cabaret Voltaire in Zurich, and the existentialists of the Tabou in Saint-Germain des Pres, providing a sense of connection and belonging in an increasingly disconnected world.

The app delves into the design principles and user-centric approach necessary to cultivate a meaningful online environment for artists. Through careful visual design and intuitive user experience, the club’s digital interface serves as a canvas for artistic expression, fostering connections, enhancing engagement and collaboration among members.

Beyond the digital realm, the app explores the integration of physical events hosted by the club in various cities. These events provide valuable opportunities for artists to come together, showcasing their work, learning from industry professionals, and engaging with a broader artistic community, bridging the gap between digital and physical spaces.
